I am going to speculate that they are having hardware problems. Since the 18th is just 2 days away, there might be a good chance of site coming online at that time.

Good news!!! They are back up! They are back up…the traffic is very heavy so response is slow. Yeah we are addicted to the good music!!! Also, my history is completely gone! Hopefully with all the traffic it will slow down enough! Anyone else having problems at the site? Be patient. All my songs were still in the history. Take it easy!!! And a band has to request royalties if it wants to be paid?

I decided to ask someone who works for the band Metallica—whose music is well-represented on MP3Search. Ru—to see whether they band receives any royalties from these sales. As disturbing as it sounds, what MP3Search. Ru does may actually be perfectly legal in Russia. Does anybody know what happened this time? Will it be back up soon? Not been able to access MP3search. The site was up until a month ago extremely good, with the most diverse and good music you could get online. I used mp3search. Got plenty of favs from them. There were atacks and attempts to close this site in the past, at least two as far as I remember. And I remember some people being frustrated that they still had money unused in the account. But I was surprised to see that when the site was coming back to life, my accounts were still there and not depleted So, they are quite honest people as far as relationship with clients goes.

Ru for my music for a couple of yrs now. I use a combination of this and itunes. I use itunes if i want a singe there and then on my iphone.

I wasn't willing at all to pay for mp3 s but when I discovered them, I had to change my mind.

A song costs a cent, an album between 10 and 15 cents, and only the newest albums are "expensive" up to 2 Euros: I am very happy with that site that enabled me to download albums I previously owned before I wast stolen half of my discs years ago, wich really broke my heart at the time. Maybe they're ok for the money, but you may not get all good mp3's. There is also another site related to MP3 Search.
